John Honiotes
John is a general contractor working in the Joliet area, and has been elected as the newest member to the vestry. He has two daughters and two grand daughters who keep him busy when he isn't voluteering his time to local not-for-profit organizations.
Lynda McShane
Lynda and her husband Ray are active in community affairs, and busy enjoying their grandchildren. Lynda is a member of the FutureNow committee and serves on the Altar Guild. She can be found at the 7:30 service.
Pat Shroba
Pat recently retired from a carreer as an OB nurse. She serves on the Community Life committee, and can be found at the 10:15 service greeting people when they enter the building and providing apple strudel for special occasions.
Dean Buchman
Dean can be found at the 10:15 service as an usher, distributing manna. Dean is one o the Christ Campus grounds keeper, and the mentor for the Young Adults in the Church, the Sr. High group.

The Vestry is the governing board of the parish. Members are elected for a three year term at the annual meeting held in January. The Wardens serve two year terms and are the elected lay leadership of the parish.
Jack Tegel, Warden
I became a member of St. Edward and Christ in 1999, when I moved here from the Detroit, MI area.
I am an Information Services Librarian at the Joliet Public Library main library.
My wife Peggy is a librarian at the Oswego Public Library. She attends Advent Christian Church in Aurora, and is Choir Director. She has 5 children and 16 grandchildren.
My hobbies include bicycling, Scrabble, reading, particularly American history, and travel. I am a Lector, a member of the Choir, and the Executive, Finance, Buildings and Grounds , and Future Now committees.
I can usually be found in the choir at the 10:15 service.
Edie Wilkins, Warden
Edie and her husband Dave, are long-time members. They enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and they love to travel.
Edie chairs the Community Life committee, helps distribute communion, attends FutureNow, and helps out in the nursery. She can be found at the 10:15 service.
Pam Nunn
Pam is back in school preparing for a second career. She serves on the FutureNow committee and is the parish Facebook administrator. She and Irv, her husband, can be found at the 10:15 service getting their son Michael ready to serve as an acolyte.
Melinda Morgan, Clerk
Melinda actively enjoys her retirement and time with her daughter and grandchildren. Ask her about her interesting pets. She can be found at the 10:15 service. She records the history of the parish in the vestry minutes.
Kathy Smith
Kathy and Larry Smith have lived in Plano for 35 years.  Kathy is a retired systems analyst from AT&T and a retired auxiliary deputy sheriff and emergency management agency volunteer  from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.  Larry is a retired mechanical engineer from Cooper Industries and enjoys fishing and golf. 
        Kathy joined St. Edward and Christ in May, 2008 and can be seen at the 4:00 p.m. service at Christ Campus in Yorkville.  Larry is a member of the United Methodist Church of Plano and has been a life-long member there.
        Kathy has one son, Dave, and two grandchildren, Justin and Sara who live in Alabama.
John Shroba
John enjoys taking Breffni, his wife, for a ride in his antique convertable. A member of Buildings and Grounds, John coodinates the card of the St. Eds Campus, and keeps our buildings at a comfortable temperature. He can be found at the 10:15 service serving as an usher and a reader.
Beth Drinan, Treasurer
Beth works for Allstate and enjoys a good meal shared with friends and family. She can be found at the 10:15 service singing in the choir, and keeping the parish records.
Sue Coffman
Sue Coffman has been a member of SECEC for 6 years and is serving her first year on the Vestry.  Her husband, Richard, serves on the Finance Committee and is a past member of the Vestry.  He is a Eucharistic Minister and a lector and is a life-long Episcopalian.
You will find Sue attending 10:15 mass on Sunday where she enjoys serving as a greeter, an usher, and has just become a lector.   Sue serves as a helper in the Atrium group of Christian Formation.
As a member of Vestry, Sue devotes time as a member of the Community Life and the Building and Grounds Committees.  She is the coordinator of the Hospitality Ministry at Christ Campus.
Sue has received many blessings as a member of the family of SECEC.
